SONG-A-DAY V5

announcing - the 5th SONG-A-DAY challenge, happening from Sept 16-25. Anyone can participate (it’s done remotely) and zero experience required! How it works - you agree to make an effort to create ~something~ every day, for 10 days straight. Then each day you upload a recording of that to this page, where you can also hear everyone else’s submissions and leave supportive comments! The definition of “song” is extremely loose - it can be a single verse, an instrumental snippet, a fully fleshed out song, a field recording, anything. It just has to have been created that day (no cheating) - the point is to force ourselves to generate something every day, even if it’s stupid (mine are often quite stupid) in an effort to train that muscle and eventually get to something good. I’ve done a few of these and they are always very supportive and sweet, and felt good to have some accountability to force myself to sit down for at least a few minutes every day.
